Take the AA warranty. They only cover you for 500 squid x 5 claims per year, but it takes the sting out of the bill for a low cost of only 50 squid. It's on their web site. |

I took out extended warrantee on my last car a Kia Sorento. The wiring underneath had corroded (yes believe it or not) and the extented warrantee for a company Kia used said it didn't cover electrics. So in my opinion you definately need to read exactly what parts are covered and if that includes labour charges. I would dare suggest its better to put money in the bank each week just in case.

Put £1000 aside in your bank account and don't buy the warranty. If it was a FFRR I would though! 2010MY Freelander 2 HSE Auto

I took out the LR extended warranty after getting quotes from elsewhere. I found warranty direct were expensive & never leave you alone constantly ringing with a 'better offer'.

I only have a GS 07 plate, 60k on the clock, i have always taken out the warranty (3 months into cars 5year) but then i get some money through work towards it. £500 per year i dont get assistance as i have RAC, europe wide, through my bank.
