I think a set every five months is excessive, indeed I can't se why unless you are using something nasty in the wash bottle. That said, Land Rover Genuine blades may well be of non-standard rubber that gives a better wipe but wears quicker (this is what I was told regarding Disco blades, which seemed to need changing every year). I currently have a set of cheapo blades from e-bay and they are fine. And have lasted two years so far, so maybe that's the way to go. |

FYI - Just bought some genuine LR one's and they have 'Valeo' stamps all over them

I have done 17000 miles in 5 months tho! Also I did use some IPA for screen wash when it was cold but that was on the last blades. These were fitted mid January! |

I have, the worse blades I have ever used, only had them on for a week or so, god knows why but they are still in the garage if you want them, they were the only blades I have ever known to screetch when you used them in the rain and when the screen was dry they were silent, and the faster you drove the worse they were |

Freelander 2 Blades look identicle to the genuine ones but just wouldn't waste your hard earned on them |
