I was looking at steering wheels earlier and found this on the bay.........

Just wondered if anyone has changed there steering wheel for one of these? There is a video attached to and it looks fairly easy to remove the wheel

Thougths on a post card.....

Why would you want a cheap and nasty PU wheel and spend a 100 notes on it at the same time...?

In my opinion if your going to change it, then it has to be for one of the new soft touch leather wheels.

Failing that, one of the old leather wheels... but not a hard plastic one!

FWI - fitting I think is fairly simple, you pop the bag out with a tool (provided) and then you can get to the bolt in the middle. Freelander 2 TD4 Auto, SE, Narvik Black, Alpaca full leather, Rear Headrest Entertainment System, 6 CD, 18 HSE Wheels, Privicy tints

ah, thought you'd have the leather wheel on an SE - must have been an option with full leather tho!

I dunno what the leather wheels cost, I've seen flash ones with piano black inserts for around 400 notes but I bet you could get the leather wheel itself far cheaper... try the dealer to begin with, see what they say? last time i checked new Leather Steering wheel was around the £400. they look the same as the one in Disco 4's & RRS but it appears those ones are cheaper at around the £200. The only difference i can see is FL2 has a Hex shape Spline and the others have normal Groved Splines. Even the chaps at TVLR thought it was a bit of a Rip oFF
