Nor do I - but as I've passed through life I've found it easier to obtain forgiveness rather than gain permission! Freelander 1 TD4 HSE - gone, 2 weeks after the Cat.Converter! Freelander 2 TD4 SE Auto MY08 - Santorini black |

Having been here I don't think you will do better than this. A court will look at this offer and decide whether it is reasonable. If they decide it is they will probably slap some court costs on you for not accepting it out of court. Don't confuse justice with the law, particularly civil law. Alternatively, ask for all your money back and buy another brand. This forum does highlight peoples problems and we all learn from them, but the vast majority of us are happy with our cars because most FL2s work well - mine does - so good luck in making your decision. |

An excellent and accurate observation. -o0o- If you like FL2 motoring (other than the existing problem) then Bananaman I'd bite my lip, swallow my pride, put it down to one of life's less enjoyable experiences and take the 750 solution without further delay. But, do put your acceptance in writing confirming all other "obligations and provisos" of all the parties pertaining to the resupply agreement. And keep a copy of all correspondence regarding this matter for future reference |

I'd go for it if offered that. Make sure you got the warranty for the new one, not the old one. |

Ha ha! Strangely enough they did, in a way, help in providing a Mortgage possibility. Strange, but true.... long story! Freelander 1 TD4 HSE - gone, 2 weeks after the Cat.Converter! Freelander 2 TD4 SE Auto MY08 - Santorini black |

They did state that the new one will come taxed and on the road. Good point about the warranty, I will bring that up tomorrow when I go in to finalize the arrangements.
