I have recently tried cleaning the rubber mats to get all the dusty and mucky stains off. First attempt involved a multi purpose cleaner and cloth. I thought this had worked but when they dried it had made no difference. So I decided to try fairy liquid and again the cleaning made no difference.

If you have one, rinse off with water from the water butt. Saves any water marks. |

Chuck'em in the washing machine - wash at 40°C on a gentle programme with a decent bio/organic clothes wash liquid and finish off with a gentle rinse. Hang to dry. Works every time with all my rubber car mats. Easy Peasy

True, Jesus, the way things are going on this forum, I wouldn't be surprised to see a thread on whats the best colour of Marigolds. |

Just take the car to the ethnics at the supermarket while shopping, they do a lovely job if they don't nick your car! Marigolds are for gays and women! |

Nothing wrong with wearing protection, some car cleaning chemicals are prone to irritating the skin
