Build Date to Delivery Time

Greetings all,

I have ordered my first LR Freelander 2 in HSE Spec (Manual), big change as i currently own an Audi A4 Avant and feel that with the winters (currently live in Germany) we have been having the LR with All Weather Tyres as standard makes sense.

My dealer has left me a message at work today informing me that the build date is 1 Jul 11, my question is how long does it usually take for the LR to be delivered and ready for collection after the build date.

Two posts in one night - and I've only just joined, I must get out more!

My dealer has given me 26 May 2011 as the delivery date to them and they think that will come forward, so I am expecting delivery to me in 2 to 3 weeks from now.

I know its different for me because I am currently in the UK, but ordered my F2 on the 4th March and just been told I can pick it up on the 15th May !!

I ordered mine in the end of Februari and was told to expect the car around may 26th, however the dealer called today and said the because of Japan the car would be built in June and I would get it in the end of July/early August....
