ANOTHER HAPPY CAMPER!

Picked up my new SD4 HSE, Ipanema Sand today in Sheffield and drove back to Suffolk. Some of the recent posts regarding new or nearly new cars have been depressing, so if you are thinking of buying a FL2 read on. On the 190 miles home got 38 mpg staying at about 60 mph, the auto box worked faultlessly never changing at inappropriate moments or labouring the engine. Most of the time gear changes were as smooth as silk. No rattles, whistles or thumps . no warnings or failures and everything worked as advertised. I know it's boring and speaking as someone who has rejected a car in the past, I have great sympathy for those affected by problems, but this one turned in a faultless performance and It was one of the most comfortable and effortless drives I have ever done. My Phone, a Nokia C3, paired first time and then just worked.

Sorry. - no tales to tell and I hope it goes on like that.

PS A daft bat farmer friend of mine took it off road into the Suffolk desert within a hour of getting home and the TR also did its bit without fault -but he's recovering in hospital!

I saw more rain in Saudi Arabia in 3 months than we have had here this year. Don't really need the MUD & RUTS bit of TR, but you live in hope. Farmers are telling us it's doom, some are even down to their last million.
