I remember when I had my driveway paved, the person I went with showed me how much the blocks would cost, how long it would take and how much they were making, he left me with this thought "look at the other quotes and if they are less ask yourself what are they cutting out in order to make a profit". the same principle applies to engines and gearboxes, no matter who is doing the work it will still take the same amount of time and have the same costs, if a quote is a lot less then ask why. The problem comes when you pay top dollar and still get a rubbish job. I believe the government is responsible, how difficult can it be to jail these criminals?. |
