Telephone problems

My car keeps losing the connection to my phone and i then have to reconnect when noticed. Is this a problem with the phone, Nokia 6234 (supposedly fully compatable according to Land Rover) or a problem with the car, a new TD4 HSE.

Not sure if it disconnects when the phone loses reception or a problem with the bluetooth. I will try another phone in the car tomorrow.

The brochure says there is a phone connection kit available but dealer says it is not available.

Has anyone else found this problem and if possible a solution.

Seems to be a 'feature' of Bluetooth.

Happens to me with my TomTom and has done with a number of headsets.

Stray interference from many sources will cause BT drop outs.

I had similar problems coming through Glen Coe last week. Regularly got 'no connection' message but would reconnect automatically when the reception improved. It wasn't until approaching Callander once we got away from the hills that the connection was constant. Rolling Eyes Out with the old (2007 SE)
In with the new (2012 Dynamic with everything). Now also gone.
