Err! sorry but I can't understand why everyone seems to hate the Evoque especially as there's a lot of freelander 2 in it

I like the MPG and CO2 figures rather a lot. 130g/km is going to make all the difference to company car tax and a 10 to 20% decrease in fuel consumption's welcome too. I like the look of them, even if it's lost a lot of the practicality (and the nice big windows) that attracted me to the Freelander in the first place. Not very keen on the interior though and the connection to Victoria Beckham is the biggest turn off that I could possibly think of. What were they thinking?! |

You could say that about a lot of vehicles. A VW Polo shares the same door handles as a Porche, but thats where the similarity ends, same with the Prevoke and FL and this is a FL forum, so by repute the members are very pro FL. They have a seperate forum for lovers of the Epoke thankfully and no doubt their own fan base. You and Tim make two, so a head start. |

Guess the difference between you and me then is that I love Landrovers not just Freelanders which is why I'm a member of lots of LR Forums.......some might say less narrow minded

I wouldn't say liking some and disliking other LR offerings is narrow minded, it shows your exercising choice rather than accepting everything just because it's got a LR badge on it.

Battle camouflage Evoke - I'd be interested in one of those especially if it had advanced "chameleon" paint finish that turns white in winter alps and sand when off on holiday in liberated N. Africa. |
