wheel size question

The freelander seems to be able to take anything between 16" to 19"" wheels or thereabouts. How much difference is there in ride comfort for example and stability. Ok types of tyres and looks are obvious or been discussed before.

not so sure about that Confused generally smaller wheels are smoother and quieter, I swapped 17 to 18 and noticed no real difference At work

I m on 19" since day one, the handling & comfort is great. Plus added rim spacer improves the ride road holding too.

17", six spokes, for me.

There are good road surfaces in some areas but I never seem to find myself on them so a good solid wheel just seems to be the right choice.

Wouldn't say no to a set of 20" diamond chrome with white-walls if I won the lottery, though...
