I was always of the impression that imported cars were taxed excessively to ensure that the home-made Fords and Holdens were more price appealing in comparison. Sounds like a feasible story to me, but don't k now the actual truth. 1st time FL2 owner. 2007 SE i6 in Tambora Flame. |

Realspeed, judging from the 'Please emigrate to Oz' programmes on TV average wages are lower than the UK, even if in a lot of places houses are cheaper.....Freelanders appear to be a lot more expensive than UK in real terms, sorry Aussies! Upgraded to an ex demo, 7 mth old, Rimini Red/Ebony Napoli Auto HSE on 28th Jan 2011, added roof rails, mudflaps and side strips.
