United Kingdom 2015 Freelander 2 SD4 Metropolis LE Auto Firenze Red
I've died and gone to heaven.....

.....in my new Freelander!
Just got my new Freelander SD4 GS yesterday in stunning Lago Grey with pimped out rear windows, heated seats, cold climate pack and detachable towbar(yes I am going to tow a caravan!).
I've only done 50 miles so far but I already know why everyone raves about them.....its a Land Rover and
its classy, looks great, goes like stink(although I AM being careful), full of quality, comfortable and I cant wait to try towing with it!
And what a pleasant experience dealing with a Land Rover dealer, Pentland Rover in Edinburgh. You get treated so much better than in other well known car dealerships - nothing is too much bother.
Ok, so they did put twin electics on the back instead of single 13 pin, but I know it will be sorted without any problems.
I cant wait to do more miles in it and will post some pictures later.

I must have been lucky - got mine within a month. They had one on order and just changed it to my spec. Even better still I only had to pay half of it now!

I've still got 3 months of a 48 month contract hire period to run out on my current Volvo V70, so I can't take delivery until the end of June. I put the order in early so that there was no problem in getting it ready, to the right spec, in good time for the end of June.

I'd been looking for a replacement for the Volvo for about the last 18 months and couldn't find anything I was completely sold on until the Freelander showed up as a last minute curve ball choice!

2011 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto Fuji White

I know how you feel!

I picked up our FL2 SD4 GS in fuji white (wife chose the color) and only done 30 miles so far but already think its a far better car can our previous Vauxhall Antara (what that I might hear you ask .. exactly!).

Definately recommend Beadles in Sidcup, at least from a sales point of view. Walked in on Saturday with a view to enquire about the Evoque and see a FL2 in the flesh, and walked out many hours later with a deal done on their display car.

The SD4 engine and auto box feel a few generations newer than the 2.0 CDTI 5spd auto in the Antara. I cant wait to get past the 500mile mark to really see what it can do Smile Already getting much better (reported) economy, 38mpg vs 23mpg on the same Journey.

These forums are a great resource!
