Does anyone else find shutting the tailgate needs quite a bit of pull. Also the struts don't seem like they operate particularly smoothly. Just wondered if it was one of those LR characteristics or whether it's worth a trip to the dealer to compare. For a free country, it does seem pretty expensive these days. |

No problem here with any doors or boot, they all operate smoothly and don't need slamming.

Maybe because women treat cars like they treat men and men treat cars like they treat women?... |

Cheers. I'll check the mounts and get the lube out too. For a free country, it does seem pretty expensive these days. |

I've had a better look this morning and the issue seems to be in the last bit of travel of the strut, it seems a bit, for want of a better word, graunchy.
