ipod connector's and bike rack

HI,
Anyone got the ipod connecter fitted? By chance do you have a photo of it I can take a look at please??

Also, anyone know how much the `sit-on-the-tow-bar` type bike carriers are from LR?

I've just bought my FL2, picking it up tomorrow. can't wait Smile

I fitted the ipod interface but I didn't fit it to the suggested location mines on a fitted using a dashmount bracket at the side of the headunit. I'll post a picture of the finished item tommorrow . . .

Regards

Paul;

Did it come with installation instructions?

Did it need any software upgrades from a dealer?

Thanks

Hi krankyd

pop over to the disco3 forum and do a search on the ipod connector.
it's exactly the same kit fitted to the d3 and rrs.

you'll find plenty of references to it and also some fitted pictures in the galleries

Nick If i sell it for that i'll be out of business in a week..

Alternative bike rack

I too was thinking of getting the LR bike attachment but believe it only holds one bike. Check out this particularly practical alternative from Thule, the T2 Bike Hitch Rack:
