Hi, I have enjoyed reading this forum so much over the last weeks. I test drove this car, and fell in love. I am wondering when your new models
come out in England? In the states, they are selling the LR2 as a 2008, but I have heard there will be some
changes in the fall. I have been trying very hard to hold off buying in hopes that things like Home Link, new colors, covered console, etc will be added. Thanks for any insight on this.

As far as I know September is production start.

Thanks for the link to the pictures. Was just what I was looking for.

According to the German Landrover site there will be a new color called "Caspian Blue Metallic".

Thank you both so much for the reply. EM, your pics look great! I spoke with a dealer yesterday about
changes coming. He told me the console gets covered and some new colors.
He was going to research it more and let me know. In the states, we only get one model. I will
be anxious to hear from anybody else on the forum about changes coming. Thanks again.

no pictures with caspian blue painted FL2 so far.

Only one addition from russian forum: new feature - premium pack added to FL2 2008MY as option includes spoiler, new leather seats (as on picture ), central storage box, "chromium" door handles and mirror caps, fully body color painted bumpers and door bottom covers. Freelander 2 HSE i6 Tonga Green

Alex, Thanks for the colors. Guess I am heading to my dealer tomorrow to order the 2008 LR2, and not
wait on the newer one. The changes don't seem to be that noticeable. Fingers crossed.

The new colours aren't on the UK web site yet but they are on the display pallette in the UK show rooms. Tambora Flame and Whistler White have been removed from the display.
The caspian blue looks very nice - seriously thinking of that for when I place my order shortly.

Well, today I put a deposit on a loaded Storn LR2. It's supose to arrive this week from another dealer who has one. Guess that means I have officially joined the ranks of the Rover Lovers. This site has been so helpful and informative for me during the decision process. Now the wait begins.......

Didn't ask about combinations as I'm minded to go with Alpaca. It will look great with the Caspian.

I've ordered a new LR2 at the end of may. I'll normally be delivered mid-october, It's a TD4 HSE auto.
I wonder if there is a chance for me to get the 2008 model ...???

Does someone know how many time do they need to build up a vehicule ?
