I've bought some black side tubes from ebay and they are new, but there are a couple of deep scratches on them. Anyone know what touch-up paint colour code would be best ? (matt black I think ?). There are so many different black touch up pens on ebay !! Thanks ! |

100% agree with npinks. Wait for them to get really bad and then visit a local body shop and get a price for a re-paint of the tubes (with tougher paint if there's such a thing). |

Do the tubes get in the way of getting in and out of the car ? Will they make the wife's jeans dirty is the main question I suppose !!? |

Tubes are nowhere near the extension of the steps (obviously) and i think you'll have no trouble avoiding catching them as you get out. Cheers, |
