[quote="druand"]Just noticed Aldi selling alloy cleaning kits again. Bought them last time and very good value. The cleaning brush supplied is excellent for cleaning between spokes of SE wheels and chemical is good too Only]£2.99 All FL2's (3) Gone

On my previous car (Toyota Celica) I had the alloy wheels stripped and repainted.

I expect to pick up my GS next week did a bit of searching around for a good wheel sealant and ended up getting a tin of FK1000p I have put it on my ST and the missus's Mini's wheels to try it out. both cars didn't get a wash for a fortnight but the wheels cleaned up brilliant with warm soapy water not a speck of tar stuck to them. You can also do the paintwork with this stuff so used the ST as a test bed gave the bonnet a coat, the rain just slides off well impressed. |

I normally clean the car(s) and wheels with stuff called 'Showroom Shine' - doesn't need water.
