Many years ago I saw a red/green glow in the sky in Leeds, nothing as bright as what the above picture is showing but 3 of us saw it and was on the local weather news,

If it was due North that you saw these colours in the sky, it was probably caused by methane gas being released into the atmosphere from CG's chicken ranch before he went green. |

I once had a job to photograph a building at night with all the associated light trails of traffic etc.

They were attempting a push into the farming community in the area. It was all to no avail of course as we know farmers only ever change their pants/socks/agas once in a generation |
