Landy came last! tho a brief mention that it would be the best off road. X3 voted first.

Don't think u will get much of a ' deluge' mate as that review was discussed last week in another post !! I don't think that the review mentions that the waiting list for an X3 is a MINIMUM of 6 months and in some cases upto a year !!

I thought the earlier discussion was about Auto Express, obviously I was confused....One point made in the previous discussion which I agree with is that they got the depreciation sums badly wrong. I might have been lucky but I got about �1500 less than I paid on trade in after 2 years and 18k miles. The dealer has it on sale for �4.4k more than he paid me and c�2k more than I paid 2 years ago! That is appreciation, not depreciation!

The depreciation is way off in WHAT CAR. Just sold my 3 year old GS with 26,000 miles and I got 74% back from what I paid for it 3 years ago

Over many years of 'looking' at What Car I have made a mental note of the 'winners' in their group tests. My totally non scientific results are that the newest model invariably 'wins' or is top two unless it is a severely flawed design. So somewhat predictable

Also 'Ford group' products seemed to do remarkably well all the time. I think that may have something to with advertising revenue.
