I have never had to check the oil on previous cars. However, they were Petrol! This is my 1st diesel engined car, so I guess I will be checking on a regular basis. ![]() |

No, no warning lights showed. If they had I would have reacted immediately. ![]() Maybe I misheard what was said. I just checked the user handbook and it says: "The approximate quantity of oil required to raise the level from Min. to Max. is 1.5 litres (diesel models)" I don't know if the oil-warning light would show at the Min. level. But, I never saw any warnings, not even a flicker. I'll just keep an eye on it from now on. |

I had this issue years ago with a fiesta, That used to get frost on the inside of the glass too. That had a heated windscreen but a somewhat faulty one so it did not help really. I find the heated windscreen to be a bloody godsend, not just for frost but also for condensation with all this rain today its been great. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

I would agree, have had a heated windscreen on all my cars since 1994 and is now a must. One of the most useful assesories on the car. Remember there are never problems, just new challenges |

Now I am confused, there is a picture on the forum taken at LPR and you are trying to get in your SD4 via the rear passenger door and now we see you have a left hand drive |
