HELP - Part Number for Fuse FA11 needed?

Hi Guys,
I need the 40A fuse for the Tow Bar Electrics and my local dealer hasnt got a clue Shocked .
A friend offered to pop in today and went armed with a fuse box diagram of fuse location of FA11 and a description that it was for the trailer electrics. Unfortunately they didn't have a clue as it didnt come up on their computer Evil or Very Mad

Does anyone have a part number for the green 40amp fuse located in FA11?

Thanks

Not sure myself

Try Nick Lee, parts manager at Yeovil, goes by the name of 'the large one' on disco3

If it's a LR part he says he can get it Thumbs Up Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Ford have used that fuse for about 10 tears. Plenty Ford dealers. All FL2's (3) Gone
2011 Mercedes C180 CGI Gone
FL2 GS Auto SD with heated leather, factory tints, alloy spare and a few other bits.

Maffs,
Yes, that is the correct fuse. It's a Littlefuse 40A slow blow plug in PAL. They are available at most Auto shops. We used to use thousands of 'em. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

Part Number Found

Hi Guys,
Just to let you know the LR part number for the green fuse is:
LR003736. It cost me a mere £1.10

I've fitted the towing electric module etc. but the electrics dont work. I guess i need to go to the dealer and pay 1/2 hrs labour to 'plug it in'.

Can anyone confirm that the electrics will NOT work without them programming something???

Thanks,

Hi Maffs
fitted my genuine LR electrics myself and nothing worked until it was activated by LR.
Took around 30 mins to complete download and settings - not a two minute job.

Local dealer wanted £80......... There's always a way forward!

2008 Freelander Td4 GS - Stornoway Grey - Now Gone - Sob
2011 Freelander Td4 GS 150 - Rimini Red - in its place - Better x far x 4!!

Thanks for the info,
My FL2 is currently at the dealer having the seat cover changed. It's also being looked at for a cold irratic idle so I've asked them to do the software install and hinting strongly that as the vehicle is 'there' they could plug it in whilst doing the seat cover and hence NO CHARGE. They didnt say NO...yet...fingers crossed Smile
Cheers,
