Here are the pictures as promised. This was created by a welder in Cyprus who is working closely with Landrover Cyprus. In my honest opinion, these bases are actually sturdier than the ones produced by Landrover themselves

Price came with the cost of bases+armrests+fitting them, it was 400 euro for both seats if I remember correctly. Pretty sure there was a lot of profit margin both for LR Cyprus and the welder. That was in March 2010 when I first got my FL2. I can ask for the price of the metal construction itself if interested, although by the looks of it, it's not that much of a job for an experienced welder. R, v |

Well I don't foresee a problem with shipping to the UK, as these bases have been installed for more than a year now, so they prove they work. I will try to get some prices for the base itself on Monday, both for individual orders and group orders. Just a reminder that someone needs to install it in the UK. R, v |

Seems like he is telling the truth. Ask him if he can get some pictures of said boss and bolt, if the design is similar to what I have shown above then it fits. And it will be much cheaper than sending out those from Cyprus - just a speculation. Also keep in mind what chicken george has said about compatibility with older models than MY10, maybe a forum member with an older model can confirm if this holds true or not, as I don't know. Anyhow I will ask for pricing from LR Cyprus for the base only and hopefully get back to you on Monday. R, v |
