not sure a market exists for single mats?

Bought a complete set of black carpet mats from Lidl (for under �6 I think) some time ago selecting the best shape for the drivers side. They didn't do one specifically for the FL2. Using a 1/2 inch brass eyelet punch and die kit (cost about �6 with 15 brass eyelets) I made a brass lined hole to latch onto the floor peg. In some ways the mat is better than the LR one in sofar as it provides more protection for the fixed carpet by covering a larger area. Only thing to watch is that the mat does not restrict the downward movement of the pedals but there seems to be plenty of room. Of coarse you don't get the LR badge. This way I can cheaply replace just the drivers side mat whilst keeping the original genuine LR mat for when the car is sold on. 2007 TD4 SE Manual
