All follow a pretty similar format but the beauty is that no two are the same thanks to their location. I would highly reccommend Eastnor (Ledbury) and the one in Honiton, Devon - yes, slightly outside of your Midlands criteria but worth the trip, and near* the seaside

Go to Rockingham Castle. I am sure the others are great but it is the closest to you so little point in going out of your way. Besides, I went to Rockingham and its fantastic. I went up a very steep muddy slope in the FL2 in one attempt which the Disco 4 took 7 attempts to get up. FL2 on goodyear wranglers too so no super mud tyres involved.

Rockingham is great. I've done Rockingham and Milton Keynes and while both are good I think Rockingham just shades it. My instructor was a FL2 enthusiast and knowledgeable. Like The Doctor I went up steep muddy slopes with no problem. Currently FL2 is an SD4 HSE with I think Pirelli standard tyres. |

Doesn't sound like any of them are exactly awful.

Ah will that at last be an 'East of England' one...they've used smoke and mirrors to claim there is one already and there aint! I can't believe there couldn't find somewhere around Peterborough with all those clay pits I enjoyed the Skipton one...and have another ticket for another |

Luton Hoo is due to open on 1 Apr 11 but bookings are now being taken. Once it is up and running then it is planned that the current Experience Chilterns and South East will close.

Thanks for the info...LR didn't mention it when I spoke to them two days ago...they said Rockingham is the East of England one...I said no it isn't it's in East Midlands! Just get annoyed when LR kept saying there is one in East of England when there isn't..up until now Anyway will probably do the Skipton one again |

Found the info about Luton Hoo on the Disco3 site, now looks like it won't open until 4 Apr and bookings are not yet being taken. Maybe Land Rover use the same criteria as the BBC who also think Rockingham in in the East of England and receives BBC Look East from Norwich. Having done Rockingham I believe you would have a great time and it's closer than Skipton. |

Anyone been to the Cheshire LR Experience? Booking a slot in the next week or two so any info would be useful!

Anyone know the format of these days too please? The voucher simply says "half day" but how much is "hands on" and how much is watching/learning? |

You will not be disappointed. I did half day and trust me you really don't need full day. There is some watching & learning of course but loads and loads of hands on. Its fab! LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby LOT (Lord of Time) - University of Gallifrey |
