freelander2 boot release switch.

the boot switch on my freelander 2 sometimes opens of its own accord, you do not have to press the car remote. Has anyone else had similar problems? Thanks

i had a good 20 minute argument with hunters derby this very afternoon about it,, they even came out with the whole handle and said that was all the y would sell me,

and then an hour later talking to iain from offroad essentials (member 10forcash) and he said the same thing..

i was told i could by the switch for under £20 but so far two dealers have told me otherwise..

Strange, as when I had my first FL2 boot switch replaced they didn't replace the whole handle as the small scratch was still there on it........

Maybe they have changed policy on it, or maybe those who have DIY it could supply part # Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Twas me, I am guilty, I put up the link, it even had the part number which incidently was the same part number on the switch that I replaced myself a couple of years back. Are they now selling you the complete handle Question

Massey 4x4 will sell the switch on its own P/N LRO20977
