Aftermarket Modification Warning

It has recently been brought to my attention that the Land Rover Warranty Department have been notified of a forum member having their FL2 modified with a power upgrade of some sorts and this was held on their file.

They was identified by location and/or registration plate within their forum gallery and this caused complications with a warranty claim as LRW had this on file.

So if your thinking about and/or have modified the FL2 I would think twice about placing a 'I have done this or that' on the forum, and if you want to talk about it I would suggest its done Hypothetically Whistle

BTW its wasn't me Laughing Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Thanks for the warning!

I had often wondered if they would pick up on this, what a shame they can't be as proactive picking up the problems that LR either cause themselves or can't fix.

Problems with my had been clearly identified, there were pictures in the gallery, I don't recall getting a call from LR asking if they could help fix the problem .. Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Stornoway Grey GS ... What a fine motor Smile ... but not any more ... Big Cry ... psst look at my gallery!

I was questioned about my exhaust when it went in for it's last service. I told them not to be so stupid as it was a Land Rover part and did not effect performance in any way.

Sort of glad my warranty is finished in January! Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

You would think with an attitude like that that the Government were running the company as that is a typical Govenment scenario!! (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.
(Past) RR Evoque Dynamic Lux Si4 In Firenze Red.
(Past) RR Evouque Pure Tech in Barollo Black with bespoke Firenze Red colour coding.
