Npinks locked it to control the "Off topic comments" and Martin hid it to tidy it up. Playing fair has nothing to do with it and I'm sure PM's are being used to discuss it so patience is all that's needed. Thumbs Up

Me too, was interesting when you ignored all the childish posts.
Looking forward to seeing DG's photos. Don't put petrol in a diesel. They don't run well.

If your referring to asking what proof their findings are based on as childish or the fact they could not answer it, and hid behind the job, or some photos which could be of anything Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Sorry to see that npinks is again disturbing this very well accepted thread by very unqualified remarks.
Assuming, but not admitting, I am hiding behind my highly qualified profession, npinks is hiding behind his role as site moderator.
This had to be said in all fairness.

I dont think I am hiding though, I am openingly asking for information as a individual, just like the other people who have asked as said many times before whether I was a moderator or just a user it makes no difference to my question.

You have said you can't provide the proof because of your job and the people your working for were I assume the information comes from, that's fair enough, but the idea of adding 2T had to come from somewhere, I have no problem with it been discussed, as said it's quite intresting. I asked for proof or some sort of documented evidence, not counting the countless people who use and find it's benefits positive, which does show your on to something here.

But because we asked for that little bit more information instead of just following your lead we are branded trouble makers.

I have taken it that your unable to provide the proof now, so if the thread does come back here, I'll just make sure it stays on topic as much as possible, but personally I don't need the proof, but maybe other will.... Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Thanks Martin. Thumbs Up

And pinks I was not talking about anyone inparticular, just that the entire thread had gone from adults discussing an interesting subject to a slanging match. That is of no use to anyone, especially the forum as the thread was being watched by so many.

Frankly pinks I for one have the greatest respect for your opinion, you helped out with that very subject some time ago, and I know you have also helped many others, who I'm sure also respect your opinion. Bow down

So to me it was very sad to see so many respected members of this forum getting dragged down to this level. Big Cry

I hope when the threads return we can all show a little restraint and some good manners to each members opinion. Thumbs Up Don't put petrol in a diesel. They don't run well.

Smile I hope it goes back up too, but that's down to Martin, I guess the unanswerable question was asked, I now have my answer so I'll just sit back now Confused Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

It's quite simple to solve the debate, the internet will have test results somewhere if there is proof it has positive effects on a derv engine. So until someone finds a link to such a test report...agree to disagree?
