EY - I think all Dunroof is saying is for CG to back off a little on the banter as I guess there are many (lucky Big Cry ) people on here with new cars with these wheels. If you can't take it you don't give it and I've genuinely no problem with the banter from him on the wheels (or anything actually) as long as it's only aimed at me and not the folk with new cars Thumbs Up

Thought for a minute a post got deleted as it didn't make sense but re-reading in a different context it's all clear now.

Well done on the facelift - you are clearly a proud FL2 owner. Pity about those half finished door mirrors. Now would you like me to get you some "Newport" style fully coloured coded mirror arms and housings to complete your pride n joy. Thumbs Up

Just popped over from the Disco3 site.
Nice to see some modding going on over here as well.
Some very impressive upgrades there. Thumbs Up
IMO that's the way the FL2 always should've looked like.
Good work chappies ... now back to work!

I've done it and then reverted back again. SWMBO rules!

It's an easy one to do in honesty. If a garage is going to charge you millions of pounds, I'd do it for half! Take about 1-2 hours in total.

England 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Santorini Black

I've just ordered a new 2011 front bumper from ebay. I will take photos before and after and post them on the site, hopefully in a few weeks. I'm not changing the rear lights, I think the new one's are not an improvement. If the were LED that would be a dfferant matter. Un sure about the tailgate handle ? I'm hoping this will freshen up my Freelander 2 untill the Freelander 3 comes out. 2013 hse auto, black, almond leather, exnon lights, factory privacy glass, exhaust finisher, rear boot spoiler, mud flaps. Body door side moulding and steps.

When you have the rear lights side by side, you will see a major difference, the black edging round the lights is so much more up to date.

My advice is, if you going to do it, then do it all and not do half a job. I know someone near me that has done the front bumper and nothing else and it just looks odd. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Hi Mav

Your right, I,ve ordered the bumper, tail gate handle, rear spoiler and clear indicator lenes. Once I've fitted them I will sort the lights out. I need front and rear which makes it costly. Still thousands of pounds cheaper than buying a new one.

I keep on looking at your photo,s the car look brill.

Regards

Very nice, but are you updating the rear lights?

Very nice! I think the 2011 rear lights which have the black detailing will finish it off! Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........
