Thanks to brilliant driving by an unknown muppet my off side glass in the mirror is cracked. Mirror still power folds, puddle light works and mirror adjusts fully up/down left and right. Slight splitbetween the two bits of plastic but think that can be dealt with. Any ideas whether I can just get replacement heated glass from dealer, if do how much and does the mirror need to come off to replace or do I need to get whole mirror unit, once again any ideas of costs. Cheers guys |

Had to replace mine. Got too close to parked white van (I did stop - no damage to the van fortunately). I managed to reclip the damaged glass back into the housing. WARNING the broken glass is very sharp. I managed to cut myself on it. Cost me £37 for new glass. Tried to clip the new replacement glass into the housing but it was so tight I was afraid I might break it. So I managed to get the dealer to push it back in. It was quite difficult even for them. Maybe the one I bought was especially tight fit. 2007 TD4 SE Manual
