IRD Failure

Any one else had an IRD fail? Mine went after only 3700 miles. Is this a common fault?

Hoping for some luck now as this was the 3rd time it has been back in 5 months!

1st DPF Pressure sensor reading low.
2nd Boot catch failed to open. Good job there is a button on the key.
3rd IRD failure.

Fingers crossed this is it!

Nope never suffered that but I have heard that the DPF for MY11 onwards is troublesome. Only 3 minor problems I have had was a dashboard mark (rectified by dealer quickly), a knocking sound when accelerating and braking (dealer adjusted a loose panel) and bent heat shield rubbing on prop shaft (caused by me going off road - rectified today whilst being serviced) LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby
