My radio

For some reason, the radio in my FL2 has decided to change channels, usually have way through a song etc. I have followed the instructions of locking the channel once found, but it still changes.
Any idea's why this is happening?

Steve.

Couple of thoughts

Could it be that the RDS system is searching for a stronger signal in a weak signal area and finding something else? There is also the issue where radio stations "steal" other listeners. There is a facility for a station to take over another temporarily for things like weather or traffic news; they are then supposed to return you to the original station but often "forget" so you end up listening to them instead. I guess you could try stopping this by disabling traffic news to see if that helps.

I thought that too, but even local stations with strong signals are being changed. I don't use the radio much, but it's annoying that when I do use it, I get this problem.

This is just a long shot, I was having trouble with my radio; it was only picking up local stations, I couldn't even tune to radio 1. I had to disconnect the battery whist doing some work in the engine bay, to my surprise after reconnecting the battery when I used the radio all of the stations came back. Could this have re set to factory settings?

mine changes radio station and/or input every time I try to sound the well hidden horn!

Took me 3 months to work out where it was and now every time I use it, the radio goes all mash up!
