My Freelander 2 has been with the dealer for 5 days trying to fix a squeaky noise from the boot area. New shock absorbers and tailgate catch have been fitted but the dealer garage can't find a solution and are reluctant to return my car to me until fault has been rectified. Any ideas?

The fault took 7 days b the dealer garage to fix and the fault was found in the rear subframe faulty bushel which apparently was done when the car was manufactured - a major recall is required now -
