Is there a quick way, without a visit to the dealer, to disable the stop/start? I often forget to over ride it via the dash switch and I would be happier without it altogether.I`m thinking of the solution to switching off the seat belt warning.

Simple answer is No - you cannot permanently switch it off. |

You could always connect the switch to a siren so it sounds when it comes on and reminds you to switch off . |

My stop/start was not working when I purchased the car in May. Checked the battery it was reading 12.1 volts.

Mine works in mild weather, in this heat wave we are having its not worked when the temperature has been above 20. I turned off the A/C and fan and it still wouldn't work, early mornings when it's cooler it works a treat! It's a strange system! Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.
