Will the first of the Freelanders hit the dealers. Had my name down for one since June but have just recently started to get interested and excited about the car.

This has got me thinking when can I expect to get the car not heard a thing from the dealer yet.

Depends if you want an auto diesel, they won't be out to March time

Also, my dealer says gas model will be evailable as late as March. Seems the diesel manual will be running the initial months and diesel and gas autos only later.

LR stated during the UK launch at the Motorshow that UK availability would start December. Might have missed it but I can't rememeber anything being said specifically about any delay to the petrol version so I was expecting it same time as the manual diesel -- I might be wrong here though.

The auto diesel however definitely won't be available until -- in LR's words again -- "Spring 2007". Bill
