United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Rimini Red

Had some insa Turbo Sahara's on my Disco 1 - see my gallery - excellent tyres.

They are remoulds as has been stated but they use A1 carcasses, rejecting any that have any damaged. I understand that the carcas has to be less than a certain age for it to be accepted. As a tyre I understand that they are up there with the best - see the reviews in the LR mags. The tyres use some traditional tread patterns from some of the better off road tyres from around 4-5 years ago.

As for their performance in snow - its all down to the tread - deeper you can go the more bite it will have. My only concern would be clearance - it wasn't a problem on Uriah my disco but he had his arches cut away.

I would say don't dis them. Remoulds are like they used to be... There's always a way forward!
