Happened to me twice, after switching off and restart the car all seems fine.

Same happened to me few days ago. The information screen was frozen. I turn the engine off, I removed the key but the frozen information was still on. Then I started the engine but the screen did not change at all. I turned the engine off again, removed the key, waited for 2-3 minutes, the screen went blank, and after that all went back to normal. |

had this problem in my old TT, ended up being the fuel sendors/sensors in the tank sticking freelander 2 SE black and beige - now sold |

Mine came up "Steering Lock Enabled" while driving the other day Though not funny if it had (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

this sounds likely for us as well... immediately before this happened, when the car had been started the fuel gauge showed a full tank even though we knew there was less than 1/4. it then proceeded to fall to its correct level and I presume it crashed not long after getting there. i've found another issue where starting the car, immediately switching off, then restarting, causes the fuel gauge to show empty. |
