Hi Avtur & Cotefarmboy,

When is it in Sept???? Have decided to bite the bullet and balls to it I wanna go offroad and and get my bitch dirty even though she's only done 500 miles Big Cry Big Cry

If I can't get to this meeting post me the next one and I will sign up for sure...I am coming out of the closet as tarmac driver and wanting to become a 'offroader'. Could I also bring my 7 year old son???

Let me know

cheers

Sorry, just realised that there is no date on the sign-up!

It is Sunday Sept 30th, there is still 1 place left for full tuition from a Land Rover Experience instructor or you can just come along and drive, would be great to see you there.

Just asked the wife 'Can I go Dear???', friggin Niece birthday...2 years old!!! Would she care if I was there...No Uncle Carl would be happier in a quarry than goo gooing at a birthday......so I'm snookered can't go Big Cry Big Cry

Keep me posted for any others, as I'd rather go on a Disco 3 or Freel2 day to meet you guys than someting from a 4x4 mag, its not just the 4x4 day that I want to do its also putting faces to names of people we are chatting with here Thumbs Up

Shame you can't make it, would your 2 year old niece not fancy a ride in Uncle Carl's shiny FL2 for her birthday present??

Carl

Like your logic, its a shame if you can't make this event, but I'm sure there'll be others.

Come on Avtur, what do you think, have you much experience going off road, I did three half days at L R centres, is that enough??? Embarassed Embarassed

Glad you can make it .....

I'm NO expert, have done 2 LRE half days, at least half a dozen corporate off road days (in older Disco's), oh and many years of mispent youth (mid 70's) larking around in a friends Range Rover ...

Also my own experiences in the FL2 during the last 6 months, won't go into detail here, I don't want any "insiders" who may be looking on to be able to relate me to possible future warranty claims Whistle Whistle Whistle
