Not here in Scandinavia where we are allowed to use studded winter tyres, maybe you are thinking of studded rally tyres ![]() It is NOT recommended to put studs in non studded winter tyres. Studded winter tyres are manufactured of a different material to retain the metal studs which are pushed in (not screwed in) and they also have a different tread pattern. They are designed to be used where most winter driving will be on icy roads and not just snowy roads. Non-studded tyres are manufactured of a softer material that grips slippery surfaces and if studs were fitted they would fall out in no time ![]() Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc. |
