Agreed!! Smashing Thumbs Up
Been out in mine several times on snow/ice. Uphill is a dream.
But be aware FL2 won't stop any quicker than any other vehicle on snow/ice unless you've got chains Big Cry

Mrs Pegleg thinks you should be able to drive as if on tarmac, Wrong!!

Pinky,
You should have seen the 400 yard steep icy hill i drove down on Saturday!! HDC making that dreadful noise all the way down; my heart was in my mouth cos i know how much insurance excess i've got!
Wonderful! God knows how i stopped.
Wish i'd filmed it like you.

I think we all start to forget very quickly how difficult the snow can make driving normal cars, i for one look at it very different now to last year when i had my bmw 130i. I would have been out tonight clearing the drive but now i just want more snow Cool freelander 2 SE black and beige - now sold

Hey guys. The snow has hit derbyshire bad with more to come over night. I took side streets on the way home to avoid the 2WD cars that could not cope. HDC and GGS mode was deployed.

On the way to work I went down a country lane and did not pass a single car. I stopped to take some pics of the car.

Check out the below pics of the said lane and the snow that has arrived.
P.S, I reversed onto our driveway from the grass verge which had about 2ft of thick snow on it and it never put a foot wrong. Awesome vehicle.

I'm loving the snow in Halifax and my drive down all the country lanes to work.... just getting fed up with astras and tranni vans getting stuck up hills! I've been waiting all year to really test my fl2.
