What is the best method to clean wipers, someone suggested white vinegar? |

For years I have used common everyday white vinegar on a kitchen towel. Simply apply the vinegar to the towel and wipe the blades clean - one or two swipes should be adequate. It is also a good idea to put a small amount in the washer bottle |

I can also vouch for the vinegar method , but after a while the car starts to smell like a chippy ______________________

hows this work, i presume you mean you the graphite (lead) smooths the rubber or something, but isn't a 2B pencil a very soft lead Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

A lot of wipers come with a graphite coating now anyway which stops the rubber squeaking .
