Armrest trouble

Is there a trick to move the drivers armrest up?
I can move the passengers armrest up or down without any problem. But the drivers armrest can only be lifted halfway up. Shocked

Maybe there is something stuck behind it or in the joint Question 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc.

Yep both our ours go level with the back rest (almost). Why not start with winding the thumbscrew height adjuster right in and then wind all the way out (Fully clockwise/Fully counter clockwise as a start Question)
