Have also got the I6 3.2, converted to LPG. Is fabulous...drives like dream, when she who should be obeyed allows me to get behind the wheel ! Currently use in Bulgaria....LPG is even cheaper there. LR stealer nice & local but no need to visit so far. Very Happy

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 i6 XS Auto Zermatt Silver

Just bought an i6 so obviously I'm biased!
Had d3 previously but too big for our needs and forever needing attention to keep it running well

After many test drives in diesel freelanders I found a low mileage i6 for under 8k in xs spec
As soon as I test drove it I knew is was the choice for me.
Very quick, very smooth plenty of toys.
Mpg around 22 locally and 28 on a run
Can't complain at all as it was 3k cheaper than a basic diesel F2 in same guise

Loving it no regrets just bought some more shell shares as I'm sure their profits may rise in the coming months!
Buy one IMO - don't settle for a donkey get the racehorse!

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 i6 HSE Auto Stornoway Grey

I've got a I6 and got it gas converted (top spec) for £2500.
It may seem a lot but not im getting fuel at 66.9p which works out at about 10MPG better than a TD4 I6 WITH GAS CONVERSION
HST BODY KIT
OSRAM LED DRIVING FOGS
CARS LOOKING GOOOOD!
