Matador Winter Tyres

Anyone heard of, or have any experience of, Matador brand winter tyres? Don't want them for the FL but for our other car. Tyres are 205 55 R16s and I can get 4 fitted for £310 quid including storage of my Summer tyres. That sounds like quite good value to me to save the agro I had last year. Can also get 4 x Bridgestones fitted for £350.

Just quick checked your size, and it shows continentals for about what your paying for the bridgestones but you'll have to store your own tyres, but the do offer the the storage too fir more ££ Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Always dangerous to rely on one source, but these tyres are fitted to some caravans and a particular size was subject to recall. See following post where it appears tyres outside the recall are also having issues.

Thanks all. Have just looked on MyTyres and interestingly, 4 off Matadors the same as I can get for £310 fitted locally inc storage of my Summer tyres would cost £440. So, Internet not always the best option! They do have a good range though.

First sign of frost and they'll put the prices up as it spurs the buying for people getting ready for winter Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
