Thought everyone might be interested in seeing what the chrome protection tubes and mirror covers look like mounted on a black car. Not sure what the tubes will protect me from, but I do like how they look!

Thanks, I debated long and hard on the mirror covers. I wish there were more of a brushed aluminum (aluminium in this forum?) than chrome, to better match the side grills and not be quite as shiny. That said, as hard as I try to keep the car clean, there always seems to be a layer of dust on them, which keeps the shine down, LOL!

Nice ColoradoLR2, black would have been too much black, I got away with my black tubes on Stornaway grey but you choose my friend. How about the rear spoiler just to finish of the rear end?? I paid £293 GBP (CAN $645) supply painted and fitted |

I think the rear spoiler would look great, I was glad to hear it's available separate from the Sport Bodykit. The spoiler and the dang roof rails (if they're ever available) and it'll be all set. Greg East Loveland, Colorado USA '08 LR2 Hers '93 740i Mine '87 944 turbo Mistress |

Like you I am waiting for roof rails, I just cannot believe they did not coincide the release of an 'SUV' without having the roof rails. I am just glad I am not using the car this year for our summer holiday as I always take a roof box.

Same here Carl. I was told by my dealer that the roof rails code is still 'locked' by land rover, whatever this might mean. I did read somewhere that due to a manufacturing problem they had to delay the roof rails release. It's certainly a big issue (I have my friends carry my windsurfing equipment |

Carlfraz, would you have a Website where I can order that Rear Spoiler? ColoradoLR2, did you get/had installed the Side Protection Tube through your Dealership Service Dept.? My 2008 LR2 http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v511/Mac...098429.pbw |
