Cig lighter and aux power socket

Just for info ....

I found out by playing around that the power for the cig lighter goes off a couple of seconds after the key is removed BUT the rear aux power socket stays live all the time in my car.

If you leave something plugged in there overnight you could get a flat battery!

I noticed this too, the up side is that sometimes it's useful to have an unswitched socket - you just need a good memory !
