I take it you're referring to the i6 model?
If so, I'm guessing it wouldn't take too long to recouperate the cost of the conversion in fuel savings!
I wouldn't do it if the vehicle is still under manufacturers warranty though. Exclamation

Would imagine the relocation of the spare wheel would prove to be a pain? The boot of a Freelander 2 isn't the biggest at the best of times.
Depends how often you use it and what for, I guess.

Basically, if its over 3 years old & you're not fussed about the spare wheel issues - go for it. Thumbs Up

I did the conversion LPG and it works very good!!!!

Dutch installation Prins VSI is perfect to this engine (3.2 i6)no problem with lambda and check engine, rides like a car on gasoline does not feel any difference and now 100km cost only 9 EUR SmileSmile better in Diesel:)

Hopefully getting an i6 tomorrow and have been looking in to the subject this week but not come to any conclusions yet, at just under 2K fitted you would need to keep the car for a while to pay for itself but what would be a V6 petrol engined car be worth at trade in without a gas system given that my local service station have just put their price up by 4p/litre overnight Big Cry .
