Hi all...I'm a brand new FL2 owner of about a week. Bought private, it's an 07 plate HSE manual.
Purchased one after liking my dad's FL2 SE auto on an 08 plate.

Overall, I'm liking the car other than the gear change which feels very flimsy and cheap. Not sure if that's normal as I've not driven a manual freelander before, but 1st to 2nd is a bit clunky especially. Might get someone to have a look at next service.

Anyway....the main reason I'm writing here is regarding my dads Freelander SE auto. Since purchasing from the dealer the sat nav and stereo system occasionally won't work when starting the car. A cure is to stop the engine and re-start, but it's just annoying.

Not a massive problem but dealer keep having a go at fixing, and CANNOT seem to sort this problem!
They've had about 5 attempts now but just seem to keep upgrading software. This doesn't work obviously.
Last time they put some kind of new 'electronic module' behing the satnav/stero system, which obviously failed.

Surely this must have happened before to someone?
How did you cure it?
