What happens in Grimsby?

A question to the Landrover experts:
whilst enquiring on the status of my Freely II order I have been informed that my car has been manufactured in the week commencing July 09, 2007, and that the car has been transfered to Grimsby for a computer initiated special quality check. The delivery to my dealer will therefor be delayed by 3 days.

What happens in Grimsby exactly and what Quality Control Centre is that place?
Can anybody enlighten me?

Hi qzx372, I was in your neck of the woods last week, Scarb. filey and Whitby. I only saw one FL2, this was parked on Filey front, same as mine SE in Stornaway
