Someones hit my car! :(

Parked in multi-storey car park, on return after 2 hours find a big scrape/dent on the front passenger door with scuff marks on that triangle silver bit with the side indicator. Sad

No message left behind.

Have contacted the car park's office, and have logged the incident with the police who will be going round to the car park to have a look at their CCTV footage. Hope they catch the Censored Censored who did this!!!!!

Really been hitting some serious bad luck lately. Big Cry

C Censored s - sorry to hear that. You never know CCTV may have captured something, but the problem is it has to capture the offence itself, which is very rare Sad Gone - TD4 XS Auto, Sumatra Black, Mud flaps and side strips, clear indicators, private plate, privacy glass

Thanks all.

On closer inspection of the damage today, it looks like the Censored did it on purpose. I mean, he would have been moving out of his parking space, so wouldn't have been going at any speed, so on collision he would have stopped leaving only a short mark, but this scrap goes 3ft in length.

I doubt they did it on purpose

More likely didn't notice due to low speed, radio on, kids acting up, general lack of care etc

Could been worst, my FIL was broadsided and the chap just kept on driving off into the distance Evil or Very Mad Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

My 12 year old neice was run over last week in Liverpool (Hit & Run, she lost some teeth, stitches in her head and a broken collar bone)
When the police caught up with the driver she said she was late picking her kids up from school Shocked

Reference the scratch - Don't like to moan one, but things like this happen in life although we all wish it didn't. Brush yourself down and get on with it. It's only a lump of metal, unlike your body, which you lot should look after better, rather than continually feed with fags, booze and fat. Not that I am preraching, just looking after your health.

A mate of mine once hit a young kid who ran out without looking in Harrogate, the lad went over the bonnet and landed luckily unhurt. My mate actually grabbed the kid made him point out his house and took him to tell his parents, he'd probably get beaten up for doing it now but he was trying to teach the kid a lesson in good faith.

The parents in this case where a little shocked but ultimately thankful for his actions and for the fact that he was driving at a safe pace in the first place. At work

Problem with the FL2 is that it is quite wide so any car parked in the adjacent bay is always close. Ive had 3 chips on my doors due to other cars parking next to me in gaps that were tight in the first place. Last one was a couple of weeks ago, Luckily for me the offending vehicle was still there when I was leaving, needless to say it also had a small amount of paintloss on its door when I left Whistle
